
Upon leaving the University of Miami, Woody Bennett entered the National Football League. He began his professional year in 1979 with the
New York Jets, in 1980 he was signed by the Miami Dolphins playing with the likes of Dan Marino, Mark Duper, Mark Clayton, Nat Moore and many other football greats under the tutelage of one the greatest coaches of all times, Mr. Don Shula. Woody Bennett's athletic experience conditioned and prepared him to face the many challenges and adversitites life may bring.
